§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners inform me that from the particulars given in the question they are unable to trace the receipt of the memorial referred to. The estate is on the principal register of direct sales, and, having regard to its position and the claims of other estates in priority to it, the Commissioners cannot at present say when its turn will be reached, but when so reached it will be dealt with as rapidly as possible.
