§ Mr. LANE-FOXasked the President of the Local Government Board whether he has been requested by the West Biding County Council to consent to the raising of the equivalent of a 4d. rate for secondary education in the West Biding; whether before giving that consent he will cause a full inquiry to be held at which all parties can be heard; and, if so, when and where that inquiry will probably take place?
§ Mr. BURNSI am arranging for a public local inquiry to be held in regard to this matter, at which all parties can be heard. I propose that the inquiry should be held in the County Hall, Wakefield, and I trust to be able to arrange it for Thursday, the 2nd of March.
