§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEPending a decision on an appeal to the High Court on a question which has arisen as to the proper method of arriving at the annual licence value of licensed premises, it has been deemed expedient to suspend the making of the valuations. I regret that for this and other reasons I see no prospect of the1752W register being completed in time for it to serve as the basis of duties to be collected for the financial year 1912–13.

§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEIf the total amounts of Liquor Licence Duty levied in the United Kingdom be apportioned between England (including Wales), Scotland, and Ireland respectively, the percentages are as follows for the years 1908–9 and 1909–10:—
