§ Mr. AMERYasked whether, inasmuch as under Clause 68 of the National Insurance Bill, as amended, funds of friendly societies set free by the operation of the Bill are to be devoted solely for the benefit of existing members, the contributions of new members to their societies, independently of contributions payable under the Bill, will be liable in respect of existing members, or whether there will be a complete separation of funds, outside the National Insurance scheme, between existing and new members of approved societies?
Mr. McKINNON WOODI see no reason for such a separation, but the matter is wholly within the discretion of the societies.
