§ Mr. GRETTONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he would state the estimated cost to the Treasury of the administration of the National Insurance Bill which will not be paid out of the two-ninths cost of benefits and administration provided in the terms of the Bill.
Mr. McKINNON WOODI regret that I am unable at present to give any useful estimate of the cost of Government administration. The size of the staffs required by the Commissioners can only be decided gradually by the aid of experience.
