§ Mr. WALTER M'LARENasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether, in view of the beneficial effects resulting from the working of the Prevention of Foul Brood Act in Ireland, and considering the almost unanimous demand of bee-keepers in this country, he will introduce a Bill for the prevention of the spread of bee diseases in Great Britain?
§ Sir E. STRACHEYI should be quite ready to consider the introduction of a Bill to enable county councils to deal with Bee Diseases if I could be assured that it would be treated as an uncontroversial measure by both sides of the House.
