Mr. HACKETT

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what steps the Estates Commissioners have taken to remedy the congested and uneconomic holdings on the following estates, namely, Trant's estate at Ballinahow, Thurles; Earl of Normanton's estate, Bishopswood, Dundrum; Going Minors estate at Ballyphilip, Ballingarry, and at Ballynonty, Thurles; and whether the Estates Commissioners will grant the request contained in the memorials received by them from the tenants of these estates to acquire the untenanted lands on these estates under the Land Act, 1909, and thereby remedy the congestion and uneconomic holdings at present existing on these estates?
