HC Deb 04 August 1911 vol 29 c768W
Mr. FETHERSTONHAUGH

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will consider whether it is desirable to give the auditors of Army accounts better facilities for checking lists of barrack repairs where mixed labour, consisting of Royal Engineer civilian labour and contractors' men, jointly carry out such work, namely, by furnishing the auditors with detailed measurements of the work performed by both sets of workmen, so that each may be credited with their own work, and thus prevent any possibility of one party being unintentionally credited with the work of the other?

Colonel SEELY

The question of audit in relation to works services is under consideration.
