HC Deb 26 April 1911 vol 24 c1926W
Mr. CRUMLEY

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether his attention has been called to a resolution passed at a meeting of the clerical managers of the Enniskillen deanery held in St. Michael schools, Enniskillen, on Tuesday, 18th April, the Very Reverend Canon Keown, P.P.V.G., presiding, relative to the withholding by the Treasury of building grants for necessary schools and improvements in Ireland; and whether he will state what steps, in the interest of primary education in Ireland, the Government intend taking to have these grievances remedied?

Mr. BIRRELL

I have received the resolution indicated in the question. I would refer the hon. Member to my reply to the question addressed to me on this subject by the hon. Member for East Mayo on the 20th instant.
