§ Mr. DUFFYasked the Chief Secretary whether he is aware that an application for reinstatement as an evicted tenant was received from Hugh Hanly, Court Lane, Athenry; whether, in reply to a question asked by the hon. Member for South Galway in March, 1908, the Estates Commissioners promised that his application would be duly considered; and, having regard to the length of time which has since passed, can he state when the Commissioners intend to deal with Mr. Hanly's application?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners inform me that Hanly's application was received after 1st May, 1907, the date mentioned in the Evicted Tenants Act, 1907, and cannot, therefore, be dealt with under that Act.
