Member for Newton; could he state what consideration the Irish Government intend to give to the proposals for the betterment of the position of Irish Asylum Workers; and whether he will assist the passage into law of the Bill now before Parliament in the protection of their interests?

§ Mr. BIRRELLI have seen a newspaper report of the meeting referred to, at which resolutions were passed in favour of the principles of the Bill. The Bill has only recently been circulated, and I have not yet had time to consider its proposals.
