HC Deb 07 April 1911 vol 23 c2673W
Mr. KELLAWAY

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture if, in view of the hardship inflicted on the Bedford small holders by the Bedford Allotment Gardens (Swine Fever) Order of 1910, he will have an inquiry made into the practicability of now removing the order?

Sir E. STRACHEY

I have made inquiry into this matter and I am satisfied that the Order is necessary for preventing the spread of swine fever, and that it could not safely be withdrawn.
