HC Deb 04 April 1911 vol 23 cc2139-40W
Mr. LYNCH

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the insufficient salaries paid to national teachers in Ireland, and particularly in regard to the inadequacy of pensions following a career of service, he will, in accordance with his reply to the deputation of the representatives of national teachers who waited on him last year, make provision in the Estimates for remedying the existing state of affairs?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

I am not yet in a position to make any statement on the subject.
