asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will state how much land has come into the hands of the Treasury in virtue of the option granted in Section 56 of the Finance Act of 1909–10; and how much of this is agricultural land?

None, Sir. I may, however, inform my hon. and gallant Friend that, as promised in my reply to the hon. Member for the Rye Divsiion of Sussex on the 21st ultimo, a Committee has been appointed to consider the matter referred to.
