§ Mr. HUGH BARRIEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the passing of the Budget and the amount of work thrown on surveyors of taxes thereby, he will instruct the Board of Inland Revenue to put off the quinquennial year of assessment to 1911–12, especially considering the fact that in the old books of assessment there is a column which can be used for the insertion of the duties for 1910–11, and that the preliminary work done for 1910–11 will do as well towards 1911–12 assessments?
