HC Deb 21 March 1910 vol 15 c918W
Mr. AUGUSTINE ROCHE

asked the Postmaster-General if the postal authorities contemplate immediately introducing military telegraphists into the Cork post office; if he is aware that the public bodies, of Cork last year unanimously adopted resolutions protesting against such a proceeding; and, if so, whether, seeing that so much unemployment prevails in Cork, he will cancel such arrangements and recruit the staff from local civilians?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL:

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer to a similar question on the 7th instant from the Senior Member for Cork City.
