Major HENDERSONasked the Postmaster-General if he will state the reason for the change in time for the closing of the post office at Abingdon (Berks); and whether, in the interests of the public of that town, an arrangement can be made for an interchange of duties during the day which, while necessitating no extra hours of work for officials, would enable the authorities to keep the office open till a later hour?
