HC Deb 04 March 1910 vol 14 c1124W
Mr. BIRD

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will issue instructions to the Labour Bureaux throughout the United Kingdom that British-born workmen wanting employment are, wherever eligible, to have preference over alien workmen in being afforded the opportunity of obtaining whatever situations are available through the instrumentality of the bureaux?

Mr. BUXTON

I have nothing to add to the reply which I gave to a question addressed to me by the Member for West Hampshire on 2nd March.
