§ Mr. CHAMBERSasked how many originating applications for the sale of estates in Ireland were received by the Estates Commissioners in the three months November and December, 1908, and January, 1909; and how many they have received since the passing of the Irish Land Act, 1909, in the corresponding three months, November and December, 1909, and January, 1910.
§ Mr. BIRRELLI am informed by the Estates Commissioners that 46 originating applications were lodged in November, 1908; 12 in December, 1908; and 8 in January, 1909. The numbers for November, December, and January last were 17, 8, and 2 respectively.
