§ Mr. VINCENT KENNEDYasked the Chief Secretary if he will say whether there is any special scale of fees applicable to claims under the Workmen's Compensation Acts in Ireland; and will he consider the advisability of assimilating the law in this respect in England and Ireland?
§ Mr. BIRRELLA scale of fees to be taken in proceedings under the Workmen's Compensation Act in Ireland was made to come into operation on 3rd July, 1908, and is still in force. In the framing of that scale regard was had to the scale of fees made in respect of like proceedings in England and to the modifications necessary to meet the difference in the circumstances of the two countries.
