§ Mr. BIRRELLA man named Dermody was twice tried for the murder of Constable M. Goldrick, but was acquitted of that charge on the occasion of the second trial, which took place recently at Dublin. The police have taken, and will continue to take, all steps in their power with a view to bringing the perpetrators to justice.
