§ Mr. HACKETTasked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether he can state the number of years the estate of John Ryan, Dundalk, situate in the townlands of Glenbeg and Gurtatoodar, near Upper-church, county Tipperary, are in the Court of Chancery; whether he can state if the estate is solvent; whether the judge has ordered a sale of the estate under Section 40 of the Land Act, 1896; whether the tenants have applied to the Court of Chancery for leave to purchase their holdings; whether the Estates Commissioners will 2639W acquire the estate in order to sell their holding to the tenants; and whether he can state the address of the present owner or persons who are in receipt of the profits of the estate?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Registrar of the Land Judge's Court informs me that there are no proceedings pending before the Land Judge in reference to this estate, nor do the records of the Court show that any such proceedings were ever instituted. Neither the Land Commission nor the Estates Commissioners have any information as to the estate.
