Mr. PEELasked the President of the Local Government Board whether he is aware that dissatisfaction exists in Bermondsey owing to the delay of the Local Government Board in granting an inquiry into the alleged acts of maladministration of the Poor Law guardians in Bermondsey; and whether he will see his way to expedite the inquiry which has been demanded
§ Mr. BURNSI addressed a communication on this subject to the guardians last week. I will undertake to see that there is no undue delay in dealing with the matter.
