§ Mr. FIELDasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he intends to introduce legislation to carry into effect the unanimous recommendations of the Departmental Committee appointed to inquire into the laws relating to bankruptcy, and to report what Amendments were required in connection therewith; whether he is aware that the Committee presented their Report in April, 1908, and that their recommendations have been considered by nearly every commercial organisation in the Kingdom, and in the main have been heartily approved; and whether he will consider the advisability of utilising the Recess in order to prepare a Bill for the Autumn Session?
