§ Mr. LANE-FOXasked what is the difference between the pay of adjutants of Yeomanry and of Territorial Infantry; and on what ground such difference is justified?
§ Mr. HALDANEThe adjutant draws the pay of his rank in the arm of the Service to which he belongs. At present the Yeomanry adjutant also draws five shillings a day additional pay. The question of additional pay has been recently under consideration, and I hope shortly to be able to announce a change which will remove the inequality.
