§ Mr. LUNDONalso asked the Chief Secretary whether negotiations have been broken off between the Estates Commissioners and Patrick Whelan, planter, of Brittas, Boher, county Limerick; did Whelan agree to leave the evicted farm; if so, who is responsible for the break-up in the settlement come to; and will he say whether it is the landlord, Lord Cloncurry, or the Estates Commissioners?
