§ Mr. O'SHAUGHNESSYasked the Chief Secretary if he can say what steps the Estates Commissioners have taken to bring about the reinstatement of Mrs. Hayes and Mrs. O'Shaughnessy, evicted tenants on the estate of Lane Joynt, at Aughanish, in the county of Limerick; is he aware that they have been for over twenty years evicted from their holdings; and will he see that they are put back without further delay?
§ Mr. BIRRELLProceedings for the sale of these lands to the Commissioners have been instituted, and they hope to be in a position at an early date to make an offer to purchase the lands with a view to the reinstatement of the evicted tenants.
