HC Deb 28 April 1910 vol 17 c738W
Mr. MOONEY

asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether the Commissioner of Valuation has revalued all the premises in Herbert Street, Dublin; if not, can he state why the premises, No. 5, Herbert Street, in the occupation of Godfrey Fetherstonhaugh, M.P., K.C., J.P., have been separately treated and the valuation reduced; can he give the valuation upon which rates would have been levied before this special revaluation took place, and what is the new and reduced valuation; and on whose application and under what special circumstances, if any, this reduction has been granted?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

Except where revision has been asked for under the Act 17 Vict. cap. 8, no special valuation has been made in Herbert Street. No. 5, Herbert Street has not been revalued, and the valuation has not been reduced. The third and fourth parts of the question consequently do not arise.
