§ Mr. McKENNAThe cost in the German Navy Estimates which corresponds to our Votes 1 and 2 is:—
Vote 1 … … £2,357,415 Vote 2 … … £754,285 These figures are given with the qualification that, owing to the form in which the German Estimates are presented, material inaccuracies may have arisen in the separation of the various items. There are no items in the German Navy Estimates corresponding to our Votes 13 and 14. The figure quoted as appearing in our Navy Estimates is £50,000 short of the actual figure.
