§ Mr. SHEEHANasked the Chief Secretary whether, in the sale of the estate of Sir George Colthurst, situate at Rathcoole, county Cork, the Estates Commissioners vested the holdings in the tenants whilst deliberately excluding the claims of John Buckley and other sub-tenants therefrom; did these sub-tenants sign agreements to purchase, and did their immediate landlords consent to the terms of sale to them; and, if so, can he explain the circumstances under which the sale was finally sanctioned without admitting the several sub-tenants to the benefits of it?
