§ Mr. LUNDONasked the Chief Secretary what is the cause of delay in issuing the vesting order on the estate of Lord Kenmare, at Hospital and Killeely, county Limerick; and, having regard to the fact that the tenants have paid at a high rate of interest for the past four years, will steps be taken to have the money advanced, and thus relieve the tenants?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe purchase agreements in the case of this estate were not lodged until October, 1908, and the estate cannot, therefore, be dealt with for some time. The rate of interest payable by the tenants in lieu of rent was a matter of arrangement between the parties.
