HC Deb 20 April 1910 vol 16 c2271W
Captain CRAIG

asked the Chief Secretary whether Sir Heffernan Considine, Deputy-Inspector-General of the Royal Irish Constabulary, will retire from the service during the current financial year; and, if so, whether his place will be filled by promotion or by the appointment of some person from outside the Royal Irish Constabulary?

Mr. BIRRELL

Sir Heffernan Considine has not intimated his intention of retiring during the current year, and consequently the question of filling up his place has not arisen.
