Mr. GUINEY

asked the Chief Secretary if he will state how many years' experience as teacher the lady has who has been recently appointed principal teacher of the Newmarket, county Cork, female national school, where she was teaching before her appointment; whether she has a certificate qualifying her to teach the Irish language; and what was the average attendance, by quarters, for the two years ending 31st March, 1910, at the Newmarket female national school?

A vacancy in the post of principal teacher of this school occurred on 31st March last. The Commissioners have not yet been notified of the name of the teacher appointed to the vacancy. The average attendance at this school for the past two years was as follows: —
