HC Deb 20 April 1910 vol 16 cc2276-7W
Captain FABER

asked the Secretary for War whether his attention has been called to the case of pensioner C. Taylor, of Kingsclere, aged seventy-seven, who is deaf and nearly blind, and who has had his Army pension stopped for three quarters because he obtained an old age pension under a supposedly false statement, with the result that he is about to enter the workhouse, and will be unable to again have a pension in consequence; and if he can take immediate steps to obviate this?

Mr. HALDANE

The case is under consideration. Meanwhile instructions have been issued that only quarter of the pension shall be stopped each quarter.
