HC Deb 20 April 1910 vol 16 c2278W
Sir WILLIAM BULL

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has yet received information regarding the proposed new water supply for the town of Cairo; whether it is now proposed, for reasons of economy, to establish a pumping station and filters down-stream of the town of Cairo itself; and, if so, whether he will consider the advisability of an independent Commission on hygiene being appointed to consider the matter?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

The question of the Cairo water supply is fully dealt with in the Annual Report of His Majesty's Agent and Consul-General on the Affairs of Egypt in 1909, which will be published shortly.
