Mr. BUXTONMy attention has been directed to the legislation on this subject which is contemplated in certain foreign countries. A large and increasing number of British vessels are voluntarily fitted with radio-telegraphic apparatus. Compulsory legislation at the present moment would, I think, be premature, but the matter will be carefully watched.
