§ Mr. O'SHAUGHNESSYasked the Chief Secretary if he will give the dates on which, from the 1st January, 1906, to the present time, ordinary, special, committee or other meetings of the National Board of Education have been held, the number of members present at each, and, if possible, their names, together with the total number of meetings attended by each member of the Board during the period in question?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThere is no objection to furnishing the dates of the various meetings of the Board and the number of members present at each meeting since the beginning of 1906, but this information could hardly be compressed within the limits of a reply to a question. The Commissioners inform me that they do not think it desirable to give details as to the attendance of individual members of their body, as they consider that no useful purpose would be served by furnishing this information.
