HC Deb 12 April 1910 vol 16 cc1208-9W
Colonel LOCKWOOD

asked the Secretary of State for War whether arrangements are being made for the Special Telegraph Reserve of the Post Office Rifles to receive only one week's training with the Royal Engineers this year; and, if so, whether, in view of the fact that these men are liable to be called up for active service in any part of the world, he will arrange that they receive at least a fortnight's training, the same as purely Territorial regiments?

Mr. HALDANE

The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. A week's training is considered sufficient to maintain efficiency pending decision on the Report of the Committee on these Reservists.
