STRACHEYThe answer is in the negative, but in coming to a decision as to whether or not the circumstances are such as to afford reasonable security against the importation from Argentina of animals affected with foot-and-mouth disease the Board are required by law to take into account the laws made by the Argentine Government for the regulation of the importation of animals and for the prevention of the introduction of disease and the administration of such laws.
