§ Mr. KELLYasked the Chief Secretary whether he can give any indication as to the date when the inquiry will be held into the advisability of extending the fishing season in the Londonderry B. No. 15/1 district (Fresh Water); and if he can hold out any prospect of the result of the inquiry being made public before the close of the present fishing season in this district?
§ Mr. REDMOND BARRYInquiries into the application for an alteration in the close season in the district in question will be held in Londonderry, Limavady, and Strabane on 14th, 17th, and 18th of May respectively. The Department of Agriculture will lose no time in coming to a decision on the evidence given. No more definite announcement can be made at present.
