HC Deb 05 April 1910 vol 16 cc401-2W
Mr. FETHERSTONHAUGH

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that Private Patrick Maguire, No. 1,797, 4th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, a Special Reservist, heretofore in receipt of a non-training bounty, has not been paid the instalments usually paid in December and February; and will he state what is the cause for stoppage of payment, and take steps to have payment resumed?

Mr. HALDANE

Private Maguire did not render his life certificates in respect of the December, 1908, and February, 1909, payments, and so far has furnished no satisfactory explanation of his omission to render them. If a satisfactory explanation is received the bounties will be paid in due course.
