Mr. BOWERMAN

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he could see his way to issue instructions that in future all workmen taken on at the Deptford Victualling Yard shall be engaged through the local Labour Exchange, as was being done by the Greenwich Hospital Works Department?

Full use will be made of the local Labour Exchanges in the recruiting of men for the Royal yards and Admiralty establishments generally.
