§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners inform me that Louden's former holding is in the occupation of another tenant, who has signed an agreement to purchase. The Commissioners offered Louden another holding and he agreed to purchase it, but has recently written to say that he is not prepared to proceed with the purchase. The Commissioners do not propose to take any further action in the matter.
