Whether they consider that Martin McGuinness and Gerry Adams are members of the Irish Republican Army Council. [HL1471]

The Government have always stated that it believes Sinn Fein and the IRA are inextricably linked. It has been the longstanding policy of the Government not to comment on matters of intelligence or individual cases.
