§ Lord Davies of OldhamThe Department for Transport and its agencies spent £749,142 on domestic air travel, and £1,154,849 on international air travel in 2003–04, and £519,517 and £1,897,615 respectively in April to November 2004. These figures show the cost of flights booked through the department's main travel contract. Any flights booked by other means cannot be separated from general travel and subsistence costs, and the information could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
