§ Angela SmithI am aware that the University of Ulster intends to investigate the feasibility of a new medical school, based at its North West campus. Subsequently it will be necessary to consider how any proposal from the university might meet the tests of viability and sustainability, as well as how such a proposal would be funded and developed within the wider context of tertiary education within Northern Ireland.
