Waterways Ireland has submitted an updated feasibility study into the reopening of the Ulster Canal and an assessment of potential funding opportunities to the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure and the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. No decision on the study has been made by the two Governments.
