§ Jane KennedyThere has been regular contact, both at Ministerial and official level, with Cabinet Office and other colleagues in relation to the Civil Contingencies Bill. The Bill will place civil protection on a modern, statutory footing and, together with associated administrative arrangements, will provide a uniform level of protection throughout the United Kingdom.
