The National Statistician has been asked to reply to your Parliamentary Question about tourism-related jobs in Crosby. I am replying in his absence. (160565)The latest available data, from the 2002 Annual Business Inquiry, shows that the total number of people employed in tourism related jobs in Crosby was 1,600. This total is obtained by combining estimates of those working in the following industries, 100W as identified by the Standard Industrial Classification 2003:
- hotels
- restaurants
- bars
- activities of travel agencies
- libraries, archives, museums etc.
- sporting activities
- other recreational activities.
