§ Mr. Stephen TwiggThrough Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) all pupils should learn about responsibility and the consequences of their actions. Personal finance education, delivered through the framework for PSHE, enables pupils to develop financial responsibility and links financial decisions and actions with value judgements. Schools may choose to specifically address problem gambling, but we have no plans to require them to do so.
No assessment has been made by the Department of the impact of problem gambling on education achievement of 12 to 15 year olds.
